Chaweng Beach is the most lively and one of the most popular beaches on Koh Samui. The 7-kilometer strip of beach is the perfect epitome of a tropical paradise – with clear waters and white, soft, powdery sands.

The beach also has a bustling nightlife, with plenty of bars, pubs, and discotheques that provide the perfect party atmosphere. If you’re planning to stay for the weekend, or for several days in this popular resort town, here are the top 10 activities to do in Chaweng Beach.

#1 Relax and Sunbathe on the Beach

The 7-km beach is the main attraction of this resort town, and it’s the focal point of the tourism industry. Lie on the beach under the tropical sun, enjoy the warm waters, and get to experience first-hand luxuries of hotels and cafes that are only a few meters from the white sands.

#2 Aquapark Chaweng

If you’re visiting the town with kids, the Aquapark is the perfect fun-filled activity for the family. The park is basically a group of giant inflatables anchored down on the water, where kids get to climb around 8 floating devices located right in the sea. Among the inflatables are a 5 meter-high iceberg wall, a human catapult, an enormous trampoline, slides, and a number of other objects that kids can easily climb for a fun and exciting day in the waters. The area is cordoned off and safety is the park’s first priority. Everyone needs to wear a lifejacket and parents can also join in on the fun.

#3 Spa and Thai Massage

There is a large spa complex located on the beach road in central Chaweng called D’s Spa & Aroma Massage and offers a number of massage and spa establishments. To get your much-needed rest and relaxation from all your traveling and daily activities, this is the place to go. Every kind of treatment or massage is offered in this complex, from Thai massage to Swedish, reflexology, aromatherapy, saunas, and many other services.

With a 100% safety record, protecting and guiding their guests is their first priority. They’re also one of the cheapest places to offer bungy jumping in all of Thailand, with only 1500 baht for each jump.

For a mini-golf experience, the Crazy Golf located behind the Islander Pub is a 9-hole mini-golf course in central Chaweng.
