You can find Jet Ski facilities at main beaches in Phuket including Patong, Surin, Karon, Kata and Bangtao Beach. However, you should really look for those Jet Ski providers that are licensed to prevent scams.
There are over 200 licensed Jet Ski operators in Phuket and half of them are based in Patong Beach. Make sure that price rate is reliable and always check your Jet Ski condition with the operator before renting one.
Rate for renting a Jet Ski can start from 800 THB to 1,500 THB for 30-minute ride – this really depends on the season, location and the operator.

Surfing
Surfing is one of the most popular water sports in Phuket especially during the monsoon season where you can expect some big waves. You can enjoy surfing in many beaches in Phuket especially in the West Coast area.
Recently gained popularity, surfing in Phuket is considered to be a relatively new thing coming to the town so there are not so many shops selling or renting out surfing equipment. However, you can still find these equipment along with surfing lessons and waves on Kata Beach. You can also find them on Patong Beach, but waves are not guaranteed.
For those who come prepared and only need a good surfing venue, should head to Bang Tao, Kalim, Kamala, Karon, Laem Singh and Nai Harn as these beaches provide quite reliable spots for surfing with plenty of waves.
However, if the mentioned beaches are not enough to serve your adrenaline, there is a surf house in Kata Beach where you can enjoy the activity from 10.00 to 22.00 hrs.

Fishing
If you like the peaceful me-time on your vacation, fishing in the sea should be your very right answer. Phuket offers many spots for sea fishing. You will find fishes like Blue and black marlin, sailfish, dog-tooth tuna, giant trevally, jacks and even swordfish in Phuket Sea.
Recommended time for this sport is during monsoon season (July to October), but you can also enjoy fishing in Phuket all year round.
You will find many sea fishing spots in Phuket, the best known are Racha (Raya) Islands, Similan Islands, Surin Islands and Similan Islands.
There are many tour operators provide sea fishing trips for a day and multi-day excursion. You can also find local boat rental for fishing which offers cheaper rate.

Swimming
The most and easy way to enjoy water sport is to swim in the sea. Phuket has plenty of spots for swimming with the beautiful beaches and crystal clear water.
Recommended beaches for swimming are Patong Beach, Rawai Beach, Naithon Beach, Kata Beach and Nai Yang Beach.
Other beaches such as Karon, Surin and Bangtao are also fine for you to swim, but they are not year round swimmable due to strong waves during monsoon season.
