1. Multihull Solutions Regatta 2015

This annual event engages people who love the thrill of sailing on multi-hull boats in a vast area of deep blue waters stretching to the scenic horizons. Held at the Ao Chalong Yacht Club (ACYC), the three-day event will allow owners of multihulls from all over the world, to compete for the number one slot. You don’t have to own a yacht to participate in this competition as some of them are available for charter throughout this event. 2. Cape Panwa Hotel Phuket Raceweek

This is the second event held in the middle of the year, shortly after the completion of the Multihull Solutions Regatta event. The Cape Panwa Raceweek incorporates up to six types of sailboats and yachts for maximum pleasure and luxury of interested parties. IRC1, IRC2, IRC Cruising, Firefly, and Corsair are just some of the types of yachts that will be in full action in this annual event being held between 15th and 19th of July 2015. All the action will take place at Cape Panwa Hotel’s Regatta Beach where four lavish parties will be held during the five-day event. 3. Phuket King’s Cup Regatta 2015

The first week of December will see the opening of the 28th King’s Cup Regatta, which is held annually in celebration of the King of Thailand’s birthday. This high profile event includes distinguished dignitaries from various provinces of Thailand as well as from abroad. Held at the Kata Beach Resort, the highly competitive sporting event attracts thousands of sailors due to the excellent weather and winds that make sailing an unforgettable experience. The King’s Cup Regatta will take place from 4th December 2015 with the registration of yachts being done on the first three days, where the competitions will officially kick off on Monday, 7th December 2015. The event will come to a close, with a Royal Awards Ceremony, on Saturday, 12th December 2015 where the King of Thailand is likely to be on the guest list.

4. Asia Superyacht Rendezvous 2015

This occasion will certainly be the biggest sailing event of 2015 as it brings together the greatest rendezvous of yachts, both sailing and motor-powered. The three-day event is held on an annual basis every 16th to 18th of December, and will mark its 15th year come the end of 2015. There are plenty of luxury sporting activities at this event that include model boat race and superyacht racing. This occasion is, however, limited to invite-only and yachts participating will have to surpass the 100-feet length mark.
